Nanochap Nine Senses Series BMS002 chip is different from traditional blood ketone testers and greatly improves testing accuracy.
Release time:2024-07-16
With the popularity of ketogenic diets and rising prevalence of diabetes, the need for monitoring blood ketone levels has gradually increased. This has driven the development of the blood ketone body tester market, resulting in more brands and models of blood ketone body testers appearing on the market.

The blood ketone tester is a medical device used to monitor the concentration of ketone bodies in the blood, which is based on a specific electrochemical principle to quickly and accurately determine the ketone body content in the blood. The application of Nanochap's biomolecular signal processing chip, the Nine Senses Series BMS002, in the blood ketone body tester has greatly improved the accuracy of the blood ketone body tester.
Nanochap Nine Senses Series BMS002 is a SOC chip based on biomolecular signal processing with the advantages of high sensitivity, high specificity and high stability, which provides an effective solution for high-precision biomolecular sensing applications, and can realize rapid and accurate detection of physiological parameters such as blood glucose and uric acid, and provide timely and accurate medical information for patients.

BMS002 Chip Improves the Detection Accuracy of Blood Ketone Body Testers
Traditional blood ketone testers use a chemical reaction method to detect blood glucose and uric acid, which is susceptible to a variety of factors, such as temperature, humidity, reaction time, etc. The BMS002 chip uses a biological reaction method to detect blood glucose and uric acid. The BMS002 chip avoids the influence of these factors through the direct measurement of biomolecular signals, thus improving the accuracy of the test. Meanwhile, the chip adopts a 16bits ADC and supports 40-2048 oversampling configuration.
The BMS002 chip simplifies the blood ketone body tester's detection process
The traditional blood glucose uric acid tester needs to add chemical reagents manually, which is complicated and easy to make mistakes. The BMS002 chip automates the process by dropping a blood sample onto a test strip and inserting the test strip into the tester, making it simple and easy to use.
The BMS002 chip reduces development costs for blood ketone testers.
The BMS002 chip integrates the crotex-M0 core, 1-32K complex impedance detection circuit, built-in adjustable bias voltage micro-current detection circuit, and support for four-electrode current detection, etc., which greatly reduces the development cost compared with the traditional blood ketone body testers in the market. Thanks to the 4mm×4mm size of the BMS002 chip, the appearance of the blood ketone tester can be controlled within a small range.
