I. Background of BMS003 chip development

Under the environment of increasingly focusing on health management, intelligent medical care plays an increasingly important role as a bridge connecting science and technology with human health. Currently in the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology has become a key technology, which puts forward higher requirements on the measurement accuracy, portability and user experience of related products. II. The technical advantages of BMS003 chip

BMS003 chip is the first chip in China that adopts 1.5V and 3V power supply versions, with high precision, low power consumption, high integration, flexible configuration and other technical features. The built-in low-noise amplifier can effectively suppress noise and interference to ensure the accuracy and reliability of bioelectric signal extraction. Meanwhile, it adopts a high-precision Δ-Σ oversampling AD converter with a maximum oversampling rate (OSR) of 2048, which can realize the accurate quantization of continuous blood glucose signals. In terms of power consumption, the BMS003 adopts a freely configurable and innovative design that allows users to determine the chip's operating bias current and clock frequency by configuring the corresponding registers, thus realizing the optimal solution between performance and power consumption.

At the application level, BMS003 has the following innovations:

1, power-on self-calibration function: after the chip is powered on, it can automatically configure the bias voltage (error ≤ ± 1mV) and other parameters of the electrochemical sensor, while the current detection is automatically calibrated; this function can save users the trouble of calibrating the bias voltage and current on the production line and ensure the consistency and accuracy of the product;

2, the collection of current with temperature compensation, in the temperature range of CGM applications almost no temperature drift;

3, can be adjusted over a wide range of data acquisition frequency, as well as oversampling rate OSR, so as to adapt to different needs;

4, with on-chip complex impedance detection function, can meet the needs of impedance measurement in the field of electrochemistry;

5, the use of special technology to avoid the impact of light irradiation on the current measurement.
